REAL ESTATE DEGREES
UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES
It's fairly uncommon to find an American majoring in real estate. Each major awards around 6,200 four-year degrees per year; 1,498 people received a four-year degree in real estate last May, making it the 176th most popular area of study around the nation. 159 of those students attended one college, Florida State University. 269 of those degrees were earned at schools in Florida.
53 schools nationwide offer four-year degrees in real estate; ergo, selecting the right institution could probably be tricky. Undergraduate degrees in the typical focus are awarded at 3.6 times more institutions than degrees in real estate, making it the 268th most universally available U.S. major.
GRADUATE DEGREES
While last May, 57% of degrees in real estate were undergrad degrees; 43% were graduate degrees. Real estate is the 115th most popular grad degree in the United States of America, with 1,121 degrees awarded. For some context, real estate is 60% less popular among postgrads than the average subject.
In Total, 2,619 students received a bachelor's or higher in real estate last May.
ONLINE REAL ESTATE DEGREES
130 of those 2,619 students (5%) went through comprehensively online programs - 54 college students and 76 postgrad students. As you can presumably see, college students majoring in real estate online are quite uncommon. It is currently the 149th most in-demand online degree with 88.8% less online students than the average subject. For postgrads, it ranks 143rd, and is 87.7% shy of the national average (616).
Ashford University granted 54 online undergrad degrees, more than any other U.S. institution.
Moreover, Colleges from California awarded the most online undergrad degrees in real estate last spring (54). The state graduates 100% of the course of study's remote students.
Just 3.6% of all four-year degrees in real estate are completed in a totally online program, (6.8% for advanced degrees). 0.85% of Ashford University's last undergraduate class studied real estate online, higher than any other institution in the nation. 54 students in their 6,318 student class completed an online college degree in real estate. They offer 58 programs remote, and had 26,914 enrolled online college students last fall. That's 100% of the student body.
2 schools in the nation have bachelor's degrees via online programs, making it the 268th most commonly available online degree. A shade less than 1 in 20 colleges offering the degree even have an online option, and 1 in 2 schools supplying the degree remotely are private.
If you hope to study real estate online, you might want to consider Ball State University, as it has the 34th best real estate program in the nation. It also provides an additional 112 degrees remotely, so you can sample classes inside another major. Furthermore, there are 759 online undergraduate students attending, which is 5% of their undergraduate population.
