ILLUSTRATION DEGREES

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES

College students majoring in illustration are quite unique. A normal focus confers 6,156 undergrad degrees per annum; 2,000 people last May were conferred a bachelor's degree in illustration, making it the 152nd most popular major across the nation. 257 of those degrees were conferred at Savannah College of Art and Design, which has the biggest program in the USA. 404 of those alumni attended school in New York.

Undergraduate degrees in illustration are available at 63 colleges nationwide; thus, selecting the best fit may possibly be hard. At the undergraduate level, the typical course of study is 3 times more commonly available than illustration., making it the 234th most universally offered degree.

GRADUATE DEGREES

While 90% of degrees in illustration last spring were undergrad degrees; 10% were postgrad degrees. Illustration is the 247th most popular postgrad degree in the US, with 213 degrees awarded. For some context, illustration is 92% less popular among postgraduate students than the average subject.

In Total, 2,213 students received a bachelor's or higher in illustration last year.

ONLINE ILLUSTRATION DEGREES

90 of those 2,213 students (4.1%) received their degrees remotely - 48 college students and 42 master's or doctor's students. As you probably can see, very few undergrad students decide to major in illustration online. It's at the moment the 156th most in-demand online degree with 90% less remote students than the average subject. For graduate students, it ranks 174th, and is 93.2% shy of the national average (616).

Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design awarded 27 online undergraduate degrees, more than any other school in the US.

Moreover, Colleges from Colorado granted the most online bachelor's degrees in illustration last May (27). Colorado alone graduates 56% of the major's remote students.

Only 2.4% of all undergrad degrees in illustration are completed in a comprehensively remote program, (19.7% for postgraduate degrees). Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design's last undergraduate class had the most dense population of online illustration majors in the nation (14.63%).

There are 2 schools in the United States with a totally remote undergraduate degree in illustration, making it the 234th most widely offered remote degree in the United States. A touch above 2 percent of institutions supplying the degree even have a remote option, and every college with undergrad degree in illustration is private.

If you desire to study illustration remotely, we recommend you think about Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, as it has the 30th best illustration program in the United States of America.
