UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES

Global studies isn't an exceedingly in-demand subject. GRADUATE DEGREES

While last May, narrowly north of six sevenths of degrees in global studies were four-year degrees; 14% were postgraduate degrees. Global studies is the 119th most popular grad degree in the United States of America, with 1,093 degrees awarded. To put that in context, global studies is 61% less popular among master's or doctor's students than the average subject.

In Total, 7,587 students received a bachelor's or higher in global studies last spring.

ONLINE GLOBAL STUDIES DEGREES

839 of those 7,587 graduates (11.1%) came out of online programs - 420 undergraduate students and 419 master's & doctor's students. As you've probably noticed by now, when compared to all online concentrations, global studies is moderately popular. It is the 60th most in-demand online field, and 12.8% below the national average of 481 students per area of study. For postgraduate students, it's ranked 63rd, and is 32% below the U.S. average (616).

American Public University System​ granted 359 online undergrad degrees, more than any other American school.

Additionally, West Virginia graduates more global studies online students than any other state (359 bachelor's degrees granted last spring). The state independently accounts for 85% of America's remote students.

6.5% of all four-year degrees in global studies are completed via an online program, (38.3% for postgraduate degrees). 6.11% of American Public University System's​ last undergraduate class majored in global studies remote, higher than any other institution in the United States of America. 359 students in their 5,873 student class completed an online undergraduate degree in global studies. They offer 100% of their degrees remotely, and had 37,335 enrolled online undergraduate students last fall. That's 100% of the student body.

Four-year degrees in global studies are available comprehensively online at 14 institutions across the country, making it the 69th most commonly available online degree. Virtually 1/20th of colleges giving out the degree even have an online option, and 36% of the colleges providing the degree online are public. The other 64% are private.

If you wish to study global studies online, we recommend you think about the University of Central Florida, as it has the 56th best global studies program in the US. It also grants an additional 46 degrees remotely, so their systems are probably trustworthy. Additionally, 7,588 online undergrads attend the school, which is 13% of the entire student body.
