 For a college subject, environmental science is moderately popular. Each area of study confers close to 6,000 four-year degrees per year; 7,289 people last May received an undergrad degree in environmental science, making it the 66th most popular major countrywide.  Finding the right fit for you will probably not be easy, seeing as four-year degrees in environmental science are offered at 496 colleges across the country.  ### GRADUATE DEGREES

 While in the neighborhood of 6 out of every 7 degrees in environmental science last year were undergrad degrees; 13% were graduate degrees.  Undergrad degrees in environmental science are offered completely remotely at 10 institutions around the nation, making it the 40th most broadly offered remote degree in the United States of America. Missouri has the most remote programs of any state, with 2 colleges to choose from.
