CHEMISTRY DEGREES
UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES
College students studying chemistry are ubiquitous. A typical area of study hands out 6,156 undergrad degrees a year; 15,395 people last spring were awarded a college degree in chemistry, making it the country's 34th most popular major. The University of California-San Diego accounted for more of those degrees than any other U.S. college (247), and colleges in California accounted for more degrees than any U.S. State (1,779).
Finding the best fit probably won't be easy, since bachelor's degrees in chemistry are offered at 1,172 colleges coast-to-coast. Undergraduate degrees in chemistry are offered at 6.1 times more schools than the typical course of study, making it the 10th most broadly available subject in the USA.

It's currently the 238th most popular remote course of study with 99.2% less online students than the average subject. For master's or doctor's students, it ranks 187th, and is 95% south of the American average (616).
