But growth goes far beyond the classroom - the interactions one has with her schoolmates, the life lesson learned from an old instructor, the exposure to a different attitude. As such, a diverse campus vastly improves what you gain from your time spent in college.

Technical Teacher Education is a less ethnically diverse subject than average*. 76% of the nation's Technical Teacher Education majors are white students, followed by students of other races**(10%), black students (7%), and latino students (7%). The most ethnically diverse college* in the top 100 is South Seattle College located in Seattle, WA.

Second, Technical Teacher Education is highly diverse when it comes to gender, with 53% of students majoring in Technical Teacher Education identifying as women. University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR has the most gender balanced student body in the top 100.
