College often is a vastly impactful time in one's life; it's an opportunity for individual progress and development. Scholars begin to figure out what they dream to pursue and learn the integral skills to become a flourishing adult. But learning also happens outside a classroom environment - the late nights discussing Noriega with a peer, the personal lesson received from an old professor, the exposure to a different way of thinking. Therefore, a diverse univeristy experience tremendously improves what one gains from the time in college.
