POPULARITY
Organizational leadership is the 91st most popular degree in America, with 4,401 students receiving their bachelors degree last year. It just beat out #92 Applied Mathematics, and narrowly lost to #90 Statistics.
The degree is offered at a total of 189 colleges across the nation, and is the 107th most widely offered degree. It is only offered at 2% of the Top 100 Best Colleges in America.
It is also worth noting that something like one in seven colleges offering organizational leadership are public making it a quite inaccessible field.
The southeast produces the most organizational leadership graduates, largely led by North Carolina Wesleyan College, while it’s the Pacific-12 Conference that leads conference totals. As far as states, California ranks highest, with particular help from Ashford University and Trident University International.
All that being said, no individual school produces more organizational leadership graduates than Amridge University, which graduated 337 students last year alone. Although size is critical, another important factor to consider is the program’s density (the percent of all students that study organizational leadership). More students studied organizational leadership as a percentage of total students at University of Charleston than any other college.
