Non-profit management is the 303rd most popular degree in America, with 374 students receiving their bachelors degree last year. It just beat out #304 Retailing and Retail Operations, and narrowly lost to #302 Physical Therapy.

The degree is offered at a total of 67 colleges across the nation, and is the 226th most widely offered degree. It is not offered at any of the Top 100 Best Colleges in America.

It is also worth noting that something like 1 out of 6 colleges offering non profit management are public making it a quite inaccessible field.

The southeast produces the most non profit management graduates, largely led by Oakwood University, while it’s the Southeastern Conference that leads conference totals. As far as states, South Carolina ranks highest, with particular help from Charleston Southern University and Columbia International University.

All that being said, no individual school produces more non profit management graduates than Northern Arizona University, which graduated 47 students last year alone. Although size is critical, another important factor to consider is the program’s density (the percent of all students that study non profit management). More students studied non profit management as a percentage of total students at Donnelly College than any other college.
