College is one of the more meaningful investments in one's life; it is a time for individual progress and evolution. Undergrads try to ascertain what they hope to become and build many of the underlying skills to become a successful member of society. But learning is more than sitting in a classroom - the discussions one has with her classmates, the funny story received from a tenured professor, the exposure to a different approach. Therefore, attending a diverse college vastly enhances what one gains from the time spent at school.
Native American Studies is a pretty racially diverse major.
