Music management is the 175th most popular degree in America, with 1,533 students receiving their bachelors degree last year. It just beat out #176 Organizational Communication, and narrowly lost to #174 Materials Engineering.

The degree is offered at a total of 94 colleges across the nation, and is the 176th most widely offered degree. It is only offered at 1% of the Top 100 Best Colleges in America.

It is also worth noting that just about two in five colleges offering music management are public making it a pretty accessible field.

The southeast produces the most music management graduates, largely led by Full Sail University, while it’s the Ohio Valley Conference that leads conference totals. As far as states, Tennessee ranks highest, with particular help from Belmont University and Middle Tennessee State University.

All that being said, no individual school produces more music management graduates than Glendale Community College, which graduated 277 students last year alone. Although size is critical, another important factor to consider is the program’s density (the percent of all students that study music management). More students studied music management as a percentage of total students at Belmont University than any other college.
