INTRODUCTION

If you think life as a senior paralegal, data entry clerk, or contracts administrator sounds interesting, then a degree in legal support services may just be for you. You could even become the court scribe at the groundbreaking case against pharmaceutical companies!

DEGREE STATS

Legal support services is the 201st most popular degree in America, with 1,154 students receiving their bachelors degree last year. It just beat out #202 Pre-Medical Studies, and narrowly lost to #200 Forestry

The degree is offered at a total of 120 colleges across the nation, and is the 137th most widely offered degree. It is only offered at 3% of the Top 100 Best Collegesin America.

It is also worth noting that hardly above 71.4% of colleges offering legal support services are public making it a quite accessible field.

The southeast produces the most legal support services graduates, largely led by The University of West Florida, while it’s the Big South Conference that leads conference totals. As far as states, Florida ranks highest, with particular help from St Petersburg Collegeand The University of West Florida.

All that being said, no individual school produces more legal support services graduates than Enterprise State Community College, which graduated 99 students last year alone. Although size is critical, another important factor to consider is the program’s density (the percent of all students that study legal support services). More students studied legal support services as a percentage of total students at Bryan Universitythan any other college.
