College often is a supremely constructive period in one's life; it is an occasion for individual growth and expansion. Pupils begin to find out their purpose and build the needed skills to be a halcyon member of society. But learning also happens outside the classroom - the interactions one has with their peers, the life lesson learned from an old professor, the exposure to a different approach. Therefore, a diverse univeristy experience greatly enriches what you gain from your time spent at school.

Insurance is a less racially diverse focus than average*. 78% of the nation's Insurance majors are white students, followed by students of other races**(8%), latino students (6%), and black students (5%). The most ethnically diverse college* in the top 100 is Georgia State University&nbspin Atlanta, GA.

In addition, Insurance significatly skews male, with 64% of students majoring in Insurance identifying as men. Franklin University in Columbus, OH has the most gender balanced student body in the top 100.

Another significant type of diversity is socioeconomic diversity. Insurance is more financially diverse than 86% of focuses. 27% of its majors come from very high income households, 17% are from homes with $75,000 to $110,000 annual incomes, and 25% grew up in households taking in less than $30,000 a year. Ball State University is the most financially diverse school in the top 100.

Considering each type of diversity, overall TX is the most diverse state for Insurance. The Southwest is the most diverse region, and the Big Twelve Conference is the most diverse conference.
