2023 Forensic Psychology Students

College often is an awfully revelatory time of one's life; it's a time for individual growth and development. Pupils attempt to learn their purpose and forge many of the crucial skills to be a successful adult. But growth also happens outside the classroom - the late nights discussing Camus with a peer, the life lesson gained from an eccentric professor, the exposure to a different stance on an issue. Therefore, a diverse college experience vastly enriches what you gain from your time in school.

Forensic Psychology is a more popular subject among students of color than white students. 43% of the US' Forensic Psychology majors are white students, followed by latino students (32%), black students (19%), and students of other races**(5%). The most ethnically diverse college* in the top 100 is National Louis University&nbspin Chicago, IL.

Secondly, Forensic Psychology very highly skews female, more so 86% of subjects. Around 83.3% of students majoring in Forensic Psychology identify as women. The most gender balanced school in the top 100 is Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL.

Another significant type of diversity is socioeconomic diversity. Unfortunately, Forensic Psychology ranks in the bottom 3% of programs socioeconomic diversity. 41% of its students come from low income households, 17% are from high income households, and 18% grew up in households making between $30,000 and $48,000 a year. Florida Institute of Technology has the most socioeconomically diverse students in the top 100.

Considering each type of diversity, overall NY is the most diverse state for Forensic Psychology. The Mid East is the most diverse region, and the Northeast 10 Conference is the most diverse conference.
