College can be an incredibly productive period of one's life; it is a time for individual growth and evolution. Scholars begin to find out what they hope to become and build many of the necessary skills to become a successful adult. But learning is deeper than what one learns in a classroom environment - the interactions one has with her schoolmates, the funny story received from an old instructor, the exposure to a different approach. As such, a diverse univeristy experience vastly improves what one gains from the time in college.

Entrepreneurship is a slightly more ethnically diverse focus than average*. 60% of America's Entrepreneurship majors are white students, followed by students of other races**(16%), latino students (15%), and asian students (4%). The most ethnically diverse college* in the top 100 is University of Houston located in Houston, TX.

Secondly, Entrepreneurship significatly skews male, with a shade above 5/8ths of students majoring in Entrepreneurship identifying as men. Drake University in Des Moines, IA has the most gender balanced student body in the top 100.

Another important type of diversity is financial diversity. Entrepreneurship ranks somewhere around average for socioeconomic diversity (41st percentile). 28% of its students come from very high income homes, 16% are from middle income families, and 26% grew up in families earning below $30,000 a year. Ball State University is the most economically diverse school in the top 100.

Considering each type of diversity, overall HI is the most diverse state for Entrepreneurship. The Far West is the most diverse region, and the Big West Conference is the most diverse conference.
