Developmental and Child Psychology is a slightly more ethnically diverse focus than average*. 60% of the nation's Developmental and Child Psychology majors are white students, followed by latino students (14%), black students (11%), and students of other races**(9%). The most racially diverse college* in the top 100 is University of California-San Diego located in La Jolla, CA.

Secondly, Developmental and Child Psychology very highly skews female, more so 94% of subjects. 9/10 of students majoring in Developmental and Child Psychology identify as women. University of Saint Francis-Fort Wayne in Fort Wayne, IN has the most gender balanced student body in the top 100.
