Clinical nutrition services is the 118th most popular degree in America, with 2,881 students receiving their bachelors degree last year. It just beat out #119 Art History, and narrowly lost to #117 Design and Visual Communications.

The degree is offered at a total of 128 colleges across the nation, and is the 131st most widely offered degree. It is only offered at 2% of the Top 100 Best Colleges in America.

It is also worth noting that in the neighborhood of 3/4 of colleges offering clinical nutrition services are public making it a quite accessible field.

The great lakes produces the most clinical nutrition services graduates, largely led by Northern Illinois University, while it’s the Mid-American Conference that leads conference totals. As far as states, Florida ranks highest, with particular help from Florida International University and Keiser University-Ft Lauderdale.

All that being said, no individual school produces more clinical nutrition services graduates than University of Alabama at Birmingham, which graduated 176 students last year alone. Although size is critical, another important factor to consider is the program’s density (the percent of all students that study clinical nutrition services). More students studied clinical nutrition services as a percentage of total students at Life University than any other college.
