College can be a vastly poignant investment in one's life; it's an occasion for personal growth and expansion. Pupils attempt to realize who they want to emulate and learn the essential skills to be a halcyon adult. But learning is more than sitting in a classroom - the conversations which one has with her peers, the nugget of wisdom gained from an old instructor, the exposure to a different vantage point. As such, attending a diverse college tremendously improves what one gains from the time spent at university.

Clinical Laboratory Science is a slightly more ethnically diverse subject than average*. 60% of America's Clinical Laboratory Science majors are white students, followed by asian students (15%), latino students (9%), and black students (8%). The most racially diverse college* in the top 100 is Tarleton State University located in Stephenville, TX.

Additionally, Clinical Laboratory Science significatly skews female, with in the neighborhood of 3/4ths of students majoring in Clinical Laboratory Science identifying as women. Nazareth College in Rochester, NY has the most gender balanced student body in the top 100.
