INTRODUCTION

If you think life as a corporate executive, human capital psychologist, or executive recruiter sounds interesting, then a degree in business administration and management may just be for you. You could even become the boss of the bosses!

POPULARITY

Business administration and management is the 2nd most popular degree in America, with 146,366 students receiving their bachelors degree last year. It just beat out #3 Engineering, and narrowly lost to #1 Registered Nursing.

The degree is offered at a total of 1,515 colleges across the nation, and is the 1st most widely offered degree. Given that business administration and management is offered at 33% of the Top 100 Best Colleges in America, you can be sure this is a critical degree and the skillsets acquired are likely to last for a long time.

It is also worth noting that 52% of colleges offering business administration and management are public making it a pretty accessible field.

The southeast produces the most business administration and management graduates, largely led by Liberty University, while it’s the California Collegiate Athletic Association that leads conference totals. As far as states, California ranks highest, with particular help from California State University-Fullerton and San Diego State University.

All that being said, no individual school produces more business administration and management graduates than Central Alabama Community College, which graduated 5296 students last year alone. Although size is critical, another important factor to consider is the program’s density (the percent of all students that study business administration and management). More students studied business administration and management as a percentage of total students at Hult International Business School than any other college.

Good luck on your college search. We hope you enjoy Authority's 2022 official Best Colleges for Business Administration and Management list. Some of our picks may surprise you!
