POPULARITY

Arts, entertainment, and media management is the 113th most popular degree in America, with 3,113 students receiving their bachelors degree last year. It just beat out #114 Industrial Production Technologies, and narrowly lost to #112 Human Sciences.

The degree is offered at a total of 213 colleges across the nation, and is the 98th most widely offered degree. It is only offered at 3% of the Top 100 Best Colleges in America.

It is also worth noting that 40% of colleges offering arts entertainment and media management are public making it a pretty accessible field.

The southeast produces the most arts entertainment and media management graduates, largely led by Full Sail University, while it’s the Ohio Valley Conference that leads conference totals. As far as states, Tennessee ranks highest, with particular help from Belmont University and Middle Tennessee State University.

All that being said, no individual school produces more arts entertainment and media management graduates than Arizona State University-Tempe, which graduated 406 students last year alone. Although size is critical, another important factor to consider is the program’s density (the percent of all students that study arts entertainment and media management). More students studied arts entertainment and media management as a percentage of total students at Los Angeles Film School than any other college.
