Air Transportation is a slightly more ethnically diverse subject than average*. 64% of the US' Air Transportation majors are white students, followed by students of other races**(15%), latino students (11%), and black students (7%). The most racially diverse college* in the top 100 is San Jose State University&nbspin San Jose, CA.

Secondly, Air Transportation is the the 13th most male dominated subject, with male students out numbering female students by a 6 to 1 ratio. The most gender balanced school in the top 100 is Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT.

Another substantial type of diversity is class diversity. Air Transportation ranks in the top 17% of subjects for income diversity. 29% of its students come from low income households, 17% are from middle income families, and 23% grew up in homes who earn above $110,000 a year. Vermont Technical College has the most economically diverse student body in the top 100.
