College can be an incredibly significant period of one's life; it's an opportunity for individual growth and development. Pupils continue to realize who they dream to emulate and learn many of the indispensable skills to become a halcyon member of society. But growth is not exclusively found in the classroom - the late nights discussing Noam Chomsky with a classmate, the wild anecdote received from a tenured instructor, the exposure to a different frame of reference. As such, a diverse student body tremendously improves what one gains from the time at university.

Agricultural Public Services is in the bottom 10% of subjects for ethnic diversity*. 79% of the US' Agricultural Public Services majors are white students, followed by latino students (8%), black students (6%), and students of other races**(6%). The most racially diverse college* in the top 100 is University of Kentucky located in Lexington, KY.

Second, Agricultural Public Services significatly skews female, with 73% of students majoring in Agricultural Public Services identifying as women. The most gender balanced school in the top 100 is University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR.

Another important type of diversity is socioeconomic diversity. Agricultural Public Services is pretty close to average for income diversity (50th percentile). 31% of its students come from homes with $110,000 plus annual incomes, 17% are from upper middle income homes, and 21% grew up in homes bringing in under $30,000 a year. Oklahoma State University-Main Campus has the most fiscally diverse students in the top 100.

Considering each type of diversity, overall KY is the most diverse state for Agricultural Public Services. The Southeast is the most diverse region, and the Big West Conference is the most diverse conference.
