College can be one of the most poignant adventures in one's life; it is an opportunity for individual growth and development. Scholars begin to find out what they are capable of and cultivate the essential skills to be a successful adult. But learning is not completely confined to a classroom - the conversations which one has with their peers, the wild anecdote gained from an old professor, the exposure to a different way of viewing the world. Therefore, attending a diverse college vastly improves what you gain from your time spent in college.
