College can be a very consequential period in one's life; it's an occasion for personal growth and maturation. Students start to ascertain what they want to do and build the necessary skills to become a thriving adult. But growth isn't purely found in a classroom - the campus dialogue, the life lesson received from an old instructor, the exposure to a different position. As such, finding a diverse college vastly improves what one gains from the time spent at college.

Accounting and Business Management is a more ethnically diverse subject than average*. 55% of the United States' Accounting and Business Management majors are white students, followed by students of other races**(17%), black students (11%), and latino students (11%). The most racially diverse college* in the top 100 is University of Phoenix-California located in Ontario, CA.

In addition, Accounting and Business Management significatly skews female, with 58% of students majoring in Accounting and Business Management identifying as women. The most gender balanced school in the top 100 is George Fox University in Newberg, OR.

Another substantial type of diversity is income diversity. Unfortunately, Accounting and Business Management ranks in the bottom 2% of programs class diversity. 42% of its students come from families earning less than $30,000 a year, 13% are from lower income families, and 21% grew up in very high income families. Castleton University is the most fiscally diverse school in the top 100.
