Qualifications
- Create skeleton application in various languages (Javascript, Python, Java, C#)
- Create apps that connect via API wrappers to numerous data sources
- Rapidly architect and deploy MPVs and prototypes to test hypotheses and market adoption
- Automate deployment and integration
- SCRUM and Agile software methodologies used extensively
- Documentation of existing and new systems, particularly detailed around operating and maintaining apps already in production
- Test driven development and tight PR review process
What You'll Do
- Bachelor level degree electrical engineering, information systems, computer science, electrical engineering or related discipline
- Masters level degree in related discipline is a significant plus
- 9+ years of software development experience in professional environment
- Extensive backend experience using Node.js
- Polyglot programmer is a must
- Strong experience with deploying and refactoring REST APIs
- Deep understanding of SQL as well as No-SQL database systems
- Extensive experience with test driven development, particularly Jest and Cucumber
- Strong track record of cloud providers and cloud native tools, particularly GCP, AWS, K8S and Helm
