Communication and media studies is an exceedingly popular undergraduate subject. The average focus hands out 6,156 undergrad degrees a year; 55,113 students earned an undergrad degree in communication and media studies last year, making it the 9th most popular major nationally. 868 of those students came out of a single college, California State University-Fullerton, and 7,572 of those degrees were earned at colleges in California.
