MARKETING DEGREES

UNDERGRADUATE DEGREES

Marketing is an especially in-demand college major. On average, each major hands out around 6,000 yearly undergraduate degrees; 44,258 people were conferred an undergrad degree in marketing last May, making it the United States of America's 13th most popular major for undergrads. Florida International University gave out more of those degrees than any other school in the United States (543), and schools in Texas gave out more degrees than any US State (3,667).

Undergrad degrees in marketing are available at 830 colleges coast-to-coast; thus, it will likely be hard to pick the right school. At the undergraduate level, marketing is 4.3 times more commonly available than the average subject, making it the 21st most universally available U.S. degree.

GRADUATE DEGREES

While last year, 94% of degrees in marketing were bachelor's degrees; 6% were advanced degrees. Marketing is the 66th most popular advanced degree in America, with 2,970 degrees granted. For some context, marketing is 7% more popular among graduate students than the average subject.

In Total, 47,228 students received a bachelor's or higher in marketing last May.

ONLINE MARKETING DEGREES

2,789 of those 47,228 alumni (5.9%) completed their degrees comprehensively remotely - 2,133 undergraduate students and 656 postgraduate students. As you likely can tell, marketing is a hugely in-demand online undergraduate subject. It is presently the 19th most in-demand remote subject with 4.4 times the U.S. average of 481 undergrads per area of study. For graduate students, it is ranked 46th, and is 6.5% north of the nation's average (616).

Western Governors University awarded 489 online undergraduate degrees, more than any other US college. Last fall, 98,630 undergraduates were attending the institution comprehensively remotely, 100% of their student body. They offer 30 online areas of study. That's 100% of their curriculum.

Additionally, Utah graduates more marketing online students than any other state (489 bachelor's degrees awarded last May). The state graduates 23% of the country's online students.

Only 4.8% of all four-year degrees in marketing are completed through an online program, (22.1% for postgrad degrees). Walsh College's last undergraduate class contained a higher percentage of online marketing majors than any other school in the country (5.94%). 21 students in their 349 student class completed an online undergrad degree in marketing. They offer 5 degrees online, and had 314 enrolled online undergrad students last fall. That's 42% of the student body.

There are 149 colleges coast-to-coast with an exclusively online college degree in marketing, making it the 21st most commonly available online degree. A little over 1 out of every 6 institutions with the degree even have a totally remote option, and 35% of schools awarding the degree remotely are public. Ohio has the most totally online programs of any state, with 13 institutions to choose from.

If you want to study marketing and are adept at paying attention on zoom meetings, you may want to look into Florida International University, as it has the 2nd best marketing program in the US. They also grant an additional 66 degrees remotely, so you could try out classes from another major. Moreover, they have 10,922 online undergraduates, which is 22% of their entire student body.
