 Not many undergraduates decide to pursue a degree in dance. A typical subject awards 6,156 annual undergraduate degrees; last May, 2,661 students received undergrad degrees in dance, making it America's 122nd most popular discipline. 59 of those students came out of [Point Park University](/colleges/point-park-university), which proudly has the largest program in the United States, and 371 of those college students came out of schools from New York.

 ### GRADUATE DEGREES

 While last year, 92% of degrees in dance were four-year degrees; 8% were graduate degrees. Dance is the 241st most popular master's or doctor's degree in the US, with 237 degrees conferred. For context, the average subject is 11.7 times more popular among master's or doctor's students than dance.
