College can be a particularly poignant investment in one's life; it is an opportunity for individual growth and maturation. Undergrads start to figure out their calling and develop many of the indispensable skills to be a prosperous adult. But growth also happens outside the classroom - the late nights discussing Noam Chomsky with a classmate, the wild anecdote learned from an old instructor, the exposure to a different vantage point. As such, a diverse student population vastly enriches what you gain from your time in university.

Computer and Information Systems Security is a slightly more racially diverse focus than average*. 57% of America's Computer and Information Systems Security majors are white students, followed by black students (17%), latino students (11%), and students of other races**(8%).
